CERN-assosierte komitéer (NUPECC-NUPP/ESF prog)

This project funds participation in scientific committees relevant for Norwegian CERN-related research. It covers mainly travel costs, but also the annual membership fee for the Nuclear Physics European Collaboration Committee (NUPECC). The most important committees are NUCPECC, the Association of CERN Users (ACCU), the Large Hadron Collider Experiments Committee (LHCC), the European Committee for Future Accelerators (ECFA - Norway has members in both Plenary ECFA og Restricted ECFA), the High Energy Physics Board of the European Physical Society , and the board of the CERN School of Computing. The project covered some expenses for the international evaluation of Norwegian CERN-related research 23-24 March, 2017. During 2019 there will be additional travel expenses associated to the Norwegian participation in the Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics, which is led by CERN.
