AT-ONE: Developing a method for service design

Awarded: NOK 7.2 mill.

The AT-ONE project will further develop the AT-ONE method and create a centre of competence within the area of service design. AT-ONE is a practitioner-based method for service-design, aimed at the early stages of concept development and developed from c ommercial experience. In this project we will combine both academic and commercial resources to iteratively refine and develop the AT-ONE method. We will do this by combining high quality research-based evaluation with development that is driven by the g oals and practical needs of the commercial partners. The results from this project will form a significant competence and knowledge base, together with the creation of a service-design advisory service, aimed at benefiting Norwegian business and industry. The centre will be positioned as part of the IxD (InnovationxDesign) centre along the Akerselva river in Oslo, thus leveraging this distinct geographical creative-industries cluster and creating a breakthrough in cross-disciplinary research.
