7 - Radium in produced water - quantities and effects. Seminar

The PROOF-supported project "Radioactivity in produced water from Norwegian oil and gas installations - concentrations, bioavailability and doses to biota" will be finished this year. In this multi-disiplinary project several intresting results have been obtained as well as new methodology has been developed. The projects participants, NIVA, NIFES, SINTEF Environment and Chemistry, and IFE, want to make sure these results are presented to stakeholders like oil producers, OLF, oil chemical producers, FHL ( Norwegian Seafood Federation), NRPA, OD, MD, etc. We therefore would like to arrange a seminar where the project methods, experiments, and results can be presented in detail and where the stakeholders of interest will have the opportunity of discussing th e results with the project experts.
