Survivors of Human Righst Violations in Processes of Transitional Justice: The Cases of Argentina and Chile

The project aims at exploring how trials related to gross human rights violations committed by an earlier regime influence the lives of the survivors of past human rights violations. The focus of the project will be on the cases of Argentina and Chile, wh ere court trials are now taking place after truth commissions have published their reports and reparation programs have been put into place. Through exploring two cases of Latin American transitional justice, the project aims at shedding light at the situ ation of survivors of past human rights violations in processes of transitional justice.
