INTEGRATED TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN OFFSHORE SHIPPING COMPANIES

In this project we emphasize the development of a value chain integrated total quality management system contributing to strategic entrepreneurship of offshore shipping companies. This includes the development of business intelligence systems for new comp lex products in arctic operations. We focus on the role of the total quality management system in exploiting the dynamic, entrepreneurial capacity in the cross section between operational management, the customers represented by the oil and gas companies, and sub-contractors. The project will emphasize the relation between the the oil and gas operational modus, the product package characteristics towards shipping companies and the ship technology and operational procedure needed Secondly, we will ela borate on the total, quality management system of a dynamic offshore shippong company as a product of product demands, ship and operation characteristics, and national and international laws and regulations on safety, security and environment
