LLM, master in law

LLM program in Saarbrücken I would like to apply for the E.ON Ruhrgas scholarship for doing a LLM at the University in Saarbrücken. I am currently studying at Kings College in London, where I`m doing a specialized master in competition law. I find my p athway at Kings very exciting, and I enjoy studying European law, even though EC competition law is quite narrow compared to all the existing rules in the Union. For this reason I want to do another master where my main focus is European and internationa l law. More specific, I`m interested in topics concerning the fundamental freedoms, European economic law, foreign trade and international finance law. Furthermore, I`m very interested in learning German, and I want to be able to use German as a working language. I`ve studied German for 5 years, at 2nd primary school and at high school so I do have the basis knowledge of the language. With a language course to refresh my skills I hope I will be able to study in German, even though I`m prepared that this will be quite hard the first months. Based on my experiences from Kings College I have a certain idea about what it takes to study at master level, at least in UK. So far it has been a lot of reading and research, but it`s all very informative and I thi nk of it as a valuable investment in my future. Furthermore I find it very exciting to meet people from different countries in the world, and even though Germany and Norway have a lot in common there will always be different opinions and understandings wh ich will be useful to discuss and learn about.
