Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe

One of the research infrastructures in the ESFRI Roadmap is the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE). The main objective of the PRACE research infrastructure is to provide a pan-European HPC service, including a leading edge supercomputing infrastructure and corresponding support for its effective use. This infrastructure guarantees European researchers access to the best supercomputer facilities in a highly competitive world. PRACE is the only ESFRI initiative on eInfrastructure. The pur pose of this application is to enable the Norwegian High-Performance Computing infrastructure to be a constructive partner in the Implementation Phase of PRACE and assist Norwegian researchers in accessing and making efficient use of the PRACE infrastruct ure.
