K2 - Morgendagens Arbeidsplass

The project's vision is to develop K2 Future workplace - a concept for office solutions of the future. Future workplace is characterized by an integration of physical solutions, new technology and new forms of working. The project's point of departure is that knowledge intensive value creation primarily takes place in synchronized flows and interactions between workers in collaborative settings. The project aims at developing prototypes for tomorrow's workplace and will pursue two integrated streams of development: 1) Design, technology development and building development for new work space solutions, and 2) new tools and methods for aligning end users to buildings. Mellomrom Arkitekturpsykologi AS is project owner and SINTEF Technology and Society is project manager. The consortium consists of Fora Form AS, Modulvegger AS, and Sparebank 1 SR-bank. The project will by integrating new trends in office technology and architecture, design processes and organization develop new work space architecture and services for aligning organizations to new work spaces. The project will through experimentation, testing and verification develop new technology, products, services and frameworks for better integration between the physical building aspects and user's needs. Important R&D challenges are directed at obtaining increased value creation in development of new buildings, including mapping of user needs and integrated product and service innovation in early phases, as well as consepts and tools for measuring the link between work places and productivity. It is a central aim to make the user perspective more prevalent in the early phase of the design process. A cross disciplinary research team consisting of people from SINTEF, NTNU and partners in Denmark, England and Australia will together with the other participants develop new forms for c o-working in new office solutions. This will provide the basis for development of a new service domain for how to improve knowledge work in rehabilitated or new office buildings. The project also has an ambition to give impetus to innovation and increased value creation in organizations outside the consortium through extensive transfer og knowledge and experiences.

Prosjektet har en visjon om å skape konseptet Kontor2.0, fremtidens arbeidsplassløsning. I Kontor2.0 er fysiske løsninger, ny teknologi og arbeidspraksis tett integrert slik at det til sammen gir best mulig forutsetninger for verdiskaping. Slik vil prosjektet utvikle verdiskapende bygg. Prosjektets skal utvikle av flere prototyper av Kontor2.0, og skal forfølge to, integrerte, utviklingsspor: 1) Design, teknologiutvikling og byggutvikling for nye arbeidsplassløsninger 2) Endringsprosessen hos sluttbruker Mellomrom Arkitekturpsykologi AS er prosjekteier og SINTEF Teknologi og Samfunn er prosjektleder. Prosjektet skal gjennom å integrere bygg og arkitekturutvikling, designprosess og organisasjonsutvikling utvikle ny arbeidsplassarkitektur og organisasjonsrettede tjenesteprodukter som er nødvendige for å realisere Kontor2.0. Prosjektet vil gjennom praktisk utprøving, testing og verifisering utvikle ny teknologi, produkter, tjenester og rammeverk for bedre integrering mellom det byggfaglige og brukersiden.
