Lynx in-line compact Separator for increasing separator production and reducing risk of liquid entrainment

InnSep AS is developing a new and innovative method for separation liquid droplets from the gas stream. This is one of the most important and fundamental processes in the oil and gas industry. Liquids cause corrosion, destroys compressors and require extr a energy for pumping when mixed with gas. The liquids consist of hydrocarbons such as oil, benzenes, water and added anti-frost liquids. They are normally separated with a metal filter that collect and coalesce the droplets so that they drip against the g as flow and are collected in the bottom of the separator. The InnSep solution, the "Lynx Separator", rotates the filter so that we can use centrifugal forces to empty the mesh, instead of using the much weaker gravity. The faster we rotate, the faster we can allow gas to go through our mesh. For the oil producers, this implies higher production capabilities in less space and volume. These are challenges that are costly and important on platforms and subsea.
