Ski-Innovasjon

Main goal: The project Ski-innovation shall develop the most technological advanced equipment in skiing and develop innovation processes that makes such radical innovations possible. Ski-innovation is following up a five year successful collaboration between IDT Solution, IDT Automasjon and Olympiatoppen. The project has three main research areas; ski-snow friction with the possibility to adaptable equipment, efficient and effective power transformation from the skier via equipment to the snow, and, finally, how expert-driven product innovation works. The first area starts with the discovery of insufficient mathematical model for ski-snow friction. The second area will look into how to adapt different equipment for maximizing the effect transfer to the snow without restraining the skier's technique. The last area tries to understand expert-driven innovation process and knowledge creation in radical innovation leaps.

Ski-Innovasjon er en fortsettelse av et 5-årig suksessfullt samarbeid mellom IDT Solution, IDT Automasjon og Olympiatoppen. Prosjektet har 3 fokus områder; ski-snø friksjon og tilpasning av utstyr samt repeter-barhet, effektiv kraftoverføring fra løper vi a utstyret til snø, og ekspert-drevet produktutvikling. Gjentatte tester viser at de teoretiske modellene for ski-snø friksjon er mangelfulle. Det andre området vil se på om tilpasninger av eksisterende utstyr og/eller helt nytt utstyr kan bidra til mer e ffektiv kraftoverføring. Ekspert-drevet produktutvikling handler om manglende forståelse av prosessen som generere effektivt, ny kunnskap og hvordan ta i bruk slik ny kunnskap for å få sprangmessige innovasjoner. Prosjektet har som målsetning å levere pro totyper på en innovasjon i hver av de to første fokusområdene. I tillegg skal den siste arbeidspakken redusere utviklingskostnadene og forkorte utviklingstiden gjennom nye arbeidsmetoder. Forskningspartnere i prosjektet er Høgskolen i Gjøvik, SINTEF Raufo ss Manufacturing og NTNU.
