The security companies are represented with their national organising units (e.g.the Norwegian National Federation of Servi ce Industries (NHO service)or ALMEDA (Swedish Security Branch). The security technology and control industry is planned to be represented by the global firms Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Telenor, having Nordic representations and both actively involved in global security issues of e.g. material and cyber technical telecommunication. The State policy and polity is planned to be represented by national directorates/departments for civil protection, emergency planning and preparedness. The researchers repres ent different societal security fields: welfare, work, religious, civil societal, emergency and peace/war research. Two combined participatory studies and actions, nationally organised by the respective researchers can show 1. the present involvement of C SOs, state representatives and the private security enterprise fields in existing and former security research, based on critical incidents and experiences and 2. new knowledge about CSOs, the national and the private security actors based on a participat ory relationship in circles of knowledge, learning and strategizing, acting like think tanks.Experiences and comparisons contribute to new knowledge for all partners.
