Farming of tunicate ascidians is a potential source of marin proteins for feed and biofuel. Former projects have documented very high biomass production. In order to commercialize farming of tunicates it is crucial from an economic point of view to develo pe an efficient harvesting method.
In order to use the biomass as feed it is also important to find technical good solutions for processing the biomass after harvesting. This project will verify commercial methods for harvesting and processing the bioma ss.
