Supercapacitors is a promising energy storage alternative for its application in hybrid and electric vehicle due to their higher power density in comparison with other energy storage system. However, supercapacitors are not yet ready for the open road bec ause they charge and discharge quickly, they do not store much energy. Toward this goal, graphene?based electrodes can provide an attractive alternative for supercapacitor due
to its promising properties such as high surface area, low weight.
It will be a lso intended to study an efficient and sustainable integration of the optimized graphene based electrode materials to obtain a new supercapacitor prototype and test it to validate the materials developed in the project. In order to improve the electrochem ical behaviour of the materials used several approaches related to the integration of these materials in supercapacitors will be fit.
