Personal mobility grant application (political science) for a study stay at the University of Oslo in the autumn term of 2014

At the University of Oslo, I will continue my studies in the research areas of working mechanisms of international institutions and peaceful conflict resolutions. I am especially interested in the master´s courses such as 'Introduction to Peace and Confli ct Studies' and on specific issues in foreign and security policy, especially in Northern Europe. Moreover I would like to deepen my knowledge in applied methods. For my master´s thesis I am planning to compare several regions and integration organisation s within those regions. During the research for my B.A. thesis on International Parliamentary Institutions, the Nordic Council proved to be a very interesting and to some extend unique case to study within the realm of my field of interest. Therefore, I w ill especially use the study stay in Norway to further my understanding on the Nordic perspectives on cooperation, regional integration and politics on peace and conflict resolution.
