MAC SCOP Mixed Anion Compounds - Spin, Charge and Orbital Physics

Funding is requested for (re)establishing strong scientific links between the NAFUMA Research Group at the Centre for materials science and nanotechnology, UiO and the CRFISMAT centre, Caen. A main objective is to assure establishing scientific exchange t hat may lead to concrete collaborative projects, hopefully also with EU funding, between younger researchers at the two partner institutions. The total funding for the Norwegian and French participants is considered to cover two plus two visits, i.e. in t otal four meetings/seminars. The participating scientists will focus their scientific activities on materials chemistry aspects for oxides materials of importance for developments within renewable energy technology.
