The ISSC's World Social Science Fora (WSSF) are events providing a platform for showcasing and debating the world's best, most creative social science contributions with a wide set of stakeholders and in areas of major scientific and societal interest. The Fora aim to shape global research agendas, energize the further development of innovative research, and assist with its effective application to society everywhere. The WSSF 2015, under the timely theme Transforming Global Relations for a Just World, will address major inequalities at a global, regional and national levels, and cover fundamental issues of concern to the full spectrum of social science and humanities disciplines. It speaks directly to the unique contributions that we can and must make to understanding and shaping processes of transformation to build a just world. We expect to be welcoming 1 200 participants from around 60 countries at this event. In order to secure the voices of young and talented researchers in this global event, the organizers are putting together a specific scholarship fund to assist at least 80 outstanding early career social scientists from low and middle income countries to participate and present in the WSS Forum, including 50% of female researchers.
