Scenario, fishEry, ecologicAl-economic modelling and VIability nEtWork

The SEAVIEW network will reinforce and disseminate the methodological advances of the network teams regarding ecological-economic and viability modeling in support of the identification of ecosystem-based fishery and marine biodiversity scenarios and management strategies. For this, SEAVIEW will rely on the interdisciplinary skills and contrasted case studies of the different partners involved in the network including France (CNRS, IFREMER), Australia (CSIRO), Germany (University of Kiel), Norway (University of Tromsø), Brazil (University of Sao Paulo and IAT, Santos) and South Africa (University of Cape Town). The consortium intends to improve the ecological-economic models, methods and tools, to disseminate them broadly and to develop ambitious collaborative research endeavors that can be submitted for funding under European and international research programs.
