The project will develop a prototype of a transponder for identification and localization of devices/units in water. The transponder will be commercialized in various sizes and with different ranges; at an affordable price. The transponder will have a lifetime of several years without changing batteries, and will thus make it possible to detect lost objects that have been in the sea for å long time. It will also be possible to calculate position by means of a central unit.
