Norwegian Shadow Group for ECSO

The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) was established in June 2016 and is a membership organisation implementing the Cyber Security contractual Public-Private Partnership (cPPP). This means defining the strategy, and in practice, the proposal call text for the cyber security research done at the European level in the years to come. ECSO currently has more than 150 members, whereof SINTEF, Simula, NTNU/CCIS and the Norwegian Research Council are Norwegian representatives. SINTEF, Simula and NTNU/CCIS have come together in order to form a Norwegian shadow group for ECSO, taking the role as a steering group cordinating national activities in the wider Norwegian community. Currently, ECSO consists of six working groups where the NSG-ECSO partners are involved: WG1: Standardisation, Certification / Labelling / Supply Chain Management WG2: Market development / Investments WG3: Sectoral demand (vertical market applications), including: o Industrial Control Systems (including Industry 4.0) o Energy Networks and Smart Grids o Transportation (including Automotive / Electrical Vehicles / Logistics/ Aeronautics/ Maritime) o Financial Services and Insurance o Public Administration: Vital Services / eGovernment o Healthcare / eHealth o Smart and Secure Cities WG4: Support SME, coordination with countries (in particular East EU) and regions WG5: Education, training, awareness, exercises WG6 SRIA: Technical areas, Products, Services areas, including: o Assurance / risk management and security / privacy by design o Identity, access and trust management (including Identity and Access Management, Trust Management) o Data security o Protecting the ICT Infrastructure (including Cyber Threats Management, Network Security, System Security, Cloud Security, Trusted hardware/ end point security/ mobile security) o Security services o Digital citizenships o Risk management for managing SOC o Information sharing and analytics for CERTs and ISACs o Secure Networks and I
