The exploration and piloting of MyData and Blockchain-based innovation in Digital Health

Alpha Venturi, Oslo Cancer Cluster (Norway) and University of Oulu / Digital Health Revolution (Finland ) intend joint cross border research and innovation initiative in the Digital Health sector as a collaboration between Finland and Norway. This initiative suggests exploring new digital technologies such as human-centric approaches such as MyData and Blockchain applied to the digital Healthcare sector. A kick-off meeting is organised on the 14th of November to gather Oslo Cancer Cluster, University in Oulu / Digital Health Revolution, Alpha Venturi, Oslo Medtech, Nordic Innovation, Innovation Norway, The Norwegian Directorate of eHealth, Norwegian Centre for E-Health Research, Kreftsregister, University of Oulu, Amgen, Digi.me, Guardtime. Objectives of the workshop include: - Introduce lead partners of the initiative and empower an ecosystem for innovation around personal health - Discuss the relevance of a MyData approach applied to digital health, in particular the individual's right to their data and possibilities for API access to personal Electronic Health Records for the individual - Discuss and agree that Blockchain for digital Health should be addressed by both Norway and Finland as a fast moving game change technology worth exploring together - Discuss the rationale and assess feasibility of launching a living lab pilot in Norway and/or Finland - Build momentum by setting up of a working group and consolidate the basis of an ambitious but realistic vision for the initiative as well as possible concrete follow-up actions
