MovieMask - internationalization of a Norwegian Innovation from NTNU

MovieMask - your portable cinema. MovieMask AS is determined to develop fun and engaging technology that is easy to use. Our first product is MovieMask - your portable cinema. We have developed some unique optics that is inserted into a mask. Combined with the users smarthpone, this gives the illusion of sitting on the front row of a cinema. In contrast to Virtual Reality (VR) goggle that focuses on 3D-experiences, we focus on enhancing exisiting 2D-content. Our optical solution is also very different from all the competing VR-goggles on the market, such as Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard. By focusing on 2D only, we have created a product that can be used without any propertiary apps, which gives the user unlimited access to all the content he/she wishes. In addition, there is no need to educate the user as the product itself is 100% analogue. Furthermore, our unique optics gives the users 4X better resolution than the similar content shown on VR-goggles (after converting the content such that it can be watched at all). In addition to have a big potential in the consumer market, we also see a big potential for this inonovation in the drone market and for e-learning.
