NTNU is a partner of an EU project NanoMEMC2 (NanoMaterials Enhanced Membranes for Carbon Capture http://www.nanomemc2.eu/) within H2020-LCE-2016-2017 program. As this type of projects must have their first twining activity with the South Korean partner within 6 months, the activity is connected with TCCS9 (12-14th June 2017) in Trondheim as a workshop, and NTNU will be the local organizer for the event. There are three projects in the same program for the twining activity with the Korean partners as well as with each other, and there will be approx.. 75 participants for this even (25-50 for 2 days). It is a great opportunity to promote the CCS research teams in Norway, and build network for Norwegian researchers to get more opportunities to participate EU projects in the future.
As the local coordinator of the event, we need financial support to pay part of the costs for the venue, lunches and coffee breaks, a reception and a dinner for the guests, and 1-2 invited speakers.
