NGI has developed a unique method which combines airborne electromagnetic surveys (AEM) with data from boreholes and various statistical approaches, to derive a model of the geology with high precision. The technology reduces the geological risk early in projects and enables huge saving for infrastructure projects. The aim of the FORNY-project is to further develop this method into a commercial ready solution.
