The project will deliver an Internet-of-Things (IoT) offering that seamlessly and autonomously will move non-load bearing walls with embedded robots (smart wheels) and the next generation of highly accurate indoor navigation. Novel value propositions are seen related to Smart Homes, buildings, and production facilities (facility management), and new ways of delivering pre-fabricated housing solutions. The innovation can save building materials and have a positive environmental effect. Moveable walls are used to optimize areas where space is at a premium. The vertical plane is the most underutilized asset in real estate. Limited innovation is seen in how walls are used. The Eurostars partners wheel.me AS (NO) for smart wheels, and Amfitech ApS (DK) for indoor navigation, have strategies aimed at making the companies' solutions preferred international industry standards and references. Overcoming the technical challenges in the project has significant valorization potential. Additional value is seen for the partners in other applications. The project started in April 2018 and has been closed out in line with the plan on 31. March 2020.

wheel.me has grown from 3 to 16 staff during the Eurostars project period, giving also room for additional in-house activities. wheel.me currently holds 14 patents, while the number was 5 at the time of filing the original application. According to our estimates, we expect to grow towards a team of 60 full-time staff by 2023 due to the wheel.me WALL project. The number of new jobs generated in the upstream and downstream supply chain is expected to be significantly larger. wheel.me has as a result of project developments had dialogues with a series of market participants to secure input to its final exploitation strategy. We emphasize strong interest from real-estate players and companies in the healthcare sector. Stand-alone valorization of the smart wheels is taking place in parallel through increasingly complex pilots with high-profile players in the automotive, general manufacturing and warehousing industries.

The project will deliver an Internet-of-Things (IoT) offering that seamlessly and autonomously will move non-load bearing walls with embedded robots (smart wheels) and the next generation highly accurate indoor navigation. Novel value propositions are seen related to Smart Homes, buildings, and production facilities (facility management), and completely new ways of delivering pre-fabricated housing solutions. The innovation can save building materials and have a positive environmental effect. Moveable walls are used to optimize areas where space is at a premium. The vertical plane is the most underutilized asset in real estate. Limited innovation is seen in how walls are used. WM for smart wheels, and AT for indoor navigation, have strategies aimed at making the companies' solutions preferred international industry standards and references. Overcoming the technical challenges in the project has significant valorization potential. The partners wheel.me AS (NO) and Amfitech ApS (DK) will generate revenue through system sales of the wheel.me WALL, comprising autonomously moving walls with embedded motorized wheel inserts, and a highly accurate indoor localization solution. We will at first focus on the high-end market for Smart Home solutions and pre-fabricated housing. We forecast generating a revenue of EURm 80 within the first 5 years post project, and an EBITDA of EURm 28.6. Additional value is seen for the partners in other applications.
