Over 50% of carriers in Norway have a margin of less than 5% due to unproductive labor in the office, a low filling rate in the vehicle and low-efficiency routes. Not only is this a problem for the carriers, but also for the community. Increased traffic, greenhouse gases and road wear are a big expense for society. Zendera is working to solve the problems by developing a smarter transport management system, which is the core system at the carrier. The system automates large portions of administrative tasks, and it optimizes fill rate and routes. Our surveys show that the system can streamline carriers by up to 25% points. If the transport sector in Norway is optimized by 25%, it saves society for approx. 1 million tonnes of CO2 per year. We aim for 10% market share, reducing emissions by approx. 100,000 tonnes of CO2 per year. The system will collect all information, from ordering, storage, delivery, and billing. All details added to the system, floor the item is to be delivered in, entrance to the building and the correct amount of goods, are information that will provide more efficiency. The mileage will be affected by the system using traffic data, showing an effective driving route. Now one of four lorries run around empty between missions. Customers will be able to get better services because they will get access to more and live information, which will provide more choices. Instead of a two-hour period of delivery, it can be cut to half an hour and you can tell when you're not home.
