Aktiviteter som forsterker effekten av resultatene fra 5G-VINNI og bidrar til kunnskapdeling om 5G og H2020-prosjektarbeid.

A workshop was arranged with the Norwegian Defence and the Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM) on the topic of 5G and Edge Cloud. Results and ongoing work in 5G-VINNI was part of the workshop. Information was shared between Telenor, the Norwegian Defence and NSM in the workshop, e.g. on topics such as on solutions for and requirements on security, robustness, performance, orchestration and the ecosystem for Edge Cloud. A conference was arranged 5-6.Nov 2020 titled «3rd Nordic Conference on ICT – 5G For Industry and Society» where about 430 participants attended. This was a digital conference where some of the presenters were physically present. There were several presentations from the 5G-VINNI project on the conference. A video titled «5G-VINNI Norway Facility» was produced and published giving an overview of the 5G-VINNI implementation of 5G in Norway. The video presented the implementation of services for vertical industries in Norway, including services for the Norwegian Defence, Yara and Rikshospitalet. An interview series and a panel debate titled «5G-VINNI Roundtable About 5G-Enabled Use Cases» was produced in collaboration with Telecom-TV communicating the results and challenges ahead in 5G-VINNI. A conference with focus on industrial 5G have been planned, in cooperation with SINTEF and NTNU, originally on 12.May and then 3-4.November, but is now postponed to 2023.

5G-VINNI har hatt store ringvirkninger på hvordan man jobber med industriell 5G i partnerskap og gjennom co-creation. FORSTERK 5G-VINNI har bidratt til å spre informasjon om prosjektet og dele resultater med andre industrielle og akademiske aktører.

Forsterkningsprosjektet vil forsterke virkningene av Horisont 2020-prosjektet, 5G-VINNI, i Norge, for forskning, samfunnsliv og næringsliv, gjennom å arrangere en 5G-konferanse og flere workshops innen utvalgte områder som for eksempel transport og logistikk, helse, forsvar, industri 4.0 og havbruk. I tillegg vil vi produsere podcasts med informasjon om 5G sin relevans for verdiskaping i utvalgte industrier og spre disse for eksempel gjennom LØRN TECH (lorn.tech).
