According to the Norwegian bureau of statistics (SSB), only 65,7 % of Norwegian students complete a degree in their time in higher education. This appears to be due to graduating pupils, in upper secondary education, lacking a clear idea of what path of study they would be happy with.
Edusight is developing a solution that will aid pupils in making reflections concerning career-choices, and does so by fusing gamification and psychological models. The programme makes use of self-determination theory and positive psychology, which is in contrast to putting people into boxes, a less evidence based but widely used method in existing solutions.
Our approach allows the pupils to make well though-out decisions for their future, and take ownership over their choices.
This project is about co-creation. Through collaboration with key actors in the market, we will develop an attractive and high-quality solution that engages and motivates pupils to make good life choices. By working closely with schools, we ensure quality and establish and early foothold in the market.
