Fake News is a huge societal challenge that has arisen in the context of social media and news spreading online. The cause of fake news are many, but could also be attributed to national interests in harming or destabilizing regions or countries. Fake news can have devastating consequences, but there is far too few technologies or solutions aiming at developing effective fake news detection tools. Factiverse was established to address this problem and challenge. Through years of research, Factiverse has developed a novel real-time big data technology that can assess and inform users if they are exposed to fake news. To do this, Factiverse has developed NLP systems, that can track and assess news online in a much larger and faster scale than what was earlier possible. The goal of Factiverse is to help businesses and individuals to be aware of Fake News, and take action before it can have a harmful impact. The project is now in a commercialization phase, where the solution will be tested and sold to media corporations in Norway.

Selskapet har funnet sin forretningsplan, og plan for kommersialisering av produktet. Dette vil skje gjennom B2B salg, direkte kommersialisering mot større bedrifter, istedenfor kommersialisering mot enkeltforbrukerne.
