Klimadult Norge rundt: En workshopturné for kunnskapsdeling og samskaping av beste praksis innen grønn nudging

Nudging is a tool for changing people's behavior, which makes the desired behavior easy, intuitive and attractive to choose. Nudges are small changes made in the choice environment, and can be used to stimulate climate-friendly choices. They are an alternative to injunctions, bans, information campaigns and financial incentives. In this project, Endrava and NORSUS traveled around Norway, physically and digitally, and held workshops about climate nudging for all the county municipalities. Participants came from both municipal and county municipal level. In a total of nine workshops, the participants were introduced to dulting as a tool for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and learned a method for developing nudges. They also developed their own ideas for nudges that can be used to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, adapted to their challenges. The goals of these nudges were to reduce car driving, increase carpooling, increase use of electric vehicles, reduce food waste and increase the degree of recycling, as well as other topics. A handbook on climate dulting was also developed as part of the project. The handbook gives an introduction to climate nudging, describes a method, and shows a collection of ideas for nudges that were developed during the workshops.

- Kunnskap om grunnleggende atferdspsykologi og dulting, og kompetanse i hvordan det kan brukes i praksis for å kutte utslipp blant innbyggere og ansatte, er tilgjengelig hos en rekke ansatte i norske kommuner og fylkeskommuner. - Kommuner og fylkeskommuner har skapt ideer til hvordan dulting kan brukes for å redusere klimagassutslipp, og lært en metode for å gjennomføre og teste dultene. - Potensielt kan kommuner og fylkeskommuner ha gjennomført dultebaserte tiltak som reduserer deres direkte og/eller indirekte klimagassutslipp.

I dette prosjektet vil vi arrangere en serie workshops for ansatte i norske kommuner og fylkeskommuner, om hvordan nudging kan brukes for å redusere klimagassutslipp. Det vil holdes én workshop per fylke, hvorav fire er fysiske (tentativt i Nordland, Troms og Finnmark, Vestland og Innlandet) og resten digitale. I workshopen får deltakerne en innføring i nudging som klimatiltak, og lærer en metode for å identifisere og teste nudge. De utvikler sammen ideer til nudge som er relevante for deres lokale klimagassutslipp. Materialet fra workshopene oppsummeres i en enkel digital håndbok med ansatte i norske kommuner og fylkeskommuner som målgruppe. Håndboken vil også inneholde ideer som ble utviklet på workshopene, og erfaringer fra kommuner og fylkeskommuner som har gjennomført nudge. For å lansere håndboken, holder vi et webinar for alle kommuner og fylkeskommuner.
