My ERC project PASSPORTS explores the commodification of ciitizenship. Me and my ERC group shall ethnographically examine the formation of "global citizens" through golden passport and golden visa programmes within the EU, focusing on Malta and Cyprus as well as on Russia (the main country of origin of the passport and visa buyers).
This grant will help me strengthen my ERC application through time and resources geared towards it.
