The patient rights sets requirements for health institutions 'dissemination of information to patients, as well as facilitating patients' ability to influence their own delivery of health services. For patients, this means necessary and understandable information to gain insight into their own state. However, the current health delivery process in child psychiatry does not manage to offer sufficient patient-centered services, as large parts of key information are disseminated through advanced terms and written resources. Consequently, children in the patient role feel uninformed and unable to understand their own circumstances. This in turn leads to a higher incidence of anxiety, and a generally more difficult course of treatment for both patients and health personnel. Digital healthcare solutions are considered as a good approach to achieve patient-centered services. At the same time, children's extensive digital use makes digital health distinctly useful for the group. Gamification and the use of entertainment elements are described as particularly appropriate and desired among children during psychiatric treatment. Through this, the project wanted to take advantage of the benefits of digital and visual portrayals, and thus give children in the patient role a tool for managing their own health and process. A priority has been to create safeness during treatment and allow children to gain ownership of their own condition. To meet this, the project has worked closely with user groups and thus developed an application that meets actual needs. Through entertainment and gamification elements, the digital tool facilitates relatable and motivating activities, and thus ensures personification in the health services of our costumers. Implicitly, the project is close to health personnel's work routines, parents challenges and delivery processes as a whole. This solution and the service that follows include aspects among everyone involved, and the project has formed extensive knowledge about the solution's impact on the delivery.

Our goal is to make children feel safer in their own medical process. Our validation have resulted in various insight in benefits, where we have focused on the period before a stay, as this is where the child experience most turbulence. Our application has proven to be useful to help reduce stress, and bring more predictability for child and parent. By providing feedback in advance, the child experiences being able to affect their stay, and thus the delivery process. Healthcare professionals have expressed that our solution contributes to put the child in centre, and a better way to gain access to their concerns. For the institution, their overall reputation as a patient-centered senter has been strengthened, as well as a certainty that their services is provided with high quality. Furter on, our solution could shorten down treatments, by getting to the core of it faster. This will imply economic effects, as well as shorten the wait for the help the children are entitled to.
