EdYou is an educational technology company that develops a digital platform to deliver an adaptive learning experience on a large scale. The aim of our solution is to gather structured data from key activities in education, analyze and process the information, before finally delivering valuable insight for both students and teachers. Education today is often static and performed linearly, resulting in inefficient learning and poor resource utilization. In Norway alone, more than NOK 200 billion is spent on education annually of which education technology is a growing proportion. Even with the accelerated need for digital solutions due to the pandemic, the use within education is still sparse and especially for solutions satisfying the need to monitor and develop the efficiency and quality of education on an individual level. The latest national surveys from High Schools (2017) shows that the digital tools employed often are limited to learning management systems (e.g. Itslearning), niche tools (e.g. GeoGebra and Kahoot), teaching resource platforms (e.g. NDLA), or working tools (e.g. Microsoft Office 365). Our research shows that, with the exception of communication tools, that there doesn't exist sufficient solutions that covers current needs with teachers and students. For students this concerns progression tracking, structure of the education, and individual adaptive support. Teachers utter a need for solutions that provides overview and insight on individual students and on classes, more flexibility and motivates students. EdYou's aim is to alleviate these issues in a user-friendly solution ultimately resulting in increased resource utilization and improved quality of learning. The goal of Forny Student is to develop a commercialized version of our solution and establish ourselves in the Norwegian market. We are developing our solution in continuous dialogue with educational partners, teachers and students to ensure that we deliver the requested demands/needs.

From the defined objectives the following implications of the project results are: - That we have develop a proven and quantified value proposition improving learning efficiency and quality for students and teachers. - Signed our first paying customer and obtain media exposure with them. - Have acquired two new pilots, while present in about 15 class rooms all over Norway. - Established ourselves as a provider of state-of-the-art edtech provider in the Norwegian market.
