TRALL is a state-of-the-art app that makes singing together in schools, kindergartens and families easy and inspiring, combining innovative technology with musical, artistic methodology and pedagogy. TRALL aims to broaden the repertoire, expand musical experiences and build a culture for singing together with songs from Norway and beyond, recorded by some of Norway?s greatest artists. TRALL prototype was finalized March 2021, with further development carried out towards launch sprin 2022. The project has contributed to moving Trall from development of the app to establishing a sustainable digital product. The project har allowed for beta testing, gauging of market interest for Trall, and assessing the consequences for a future Trall organisation. TRALL is developed by the Music section at the Department for Early Childhood and Education at OsloMet in close cooperation with Bakken & Bæck. Trall is supported by the Savings Bank Foundation DNB, Art Council Norway and Fure Foundation, and collaborates with NRK, Norsk noteservice and Tono to ensure content quality. TRALL/OsloMet now has a sound foundation to making decisions on organisational and financial model for the future of Trall. A marketing plan and list of potential investors/sponsors is in place, with 4 potential customers on board. A sales plan has been developed, including testing of some initial digital marketing strategies. Trall how has the user insights needed for finalising the app and marketing strategies, and has informed us on how to handle the IPR, users and economy, and thus contributing to the future sustainability of Trall. Ways to assess TRALLs possible impact on target groups have been defined. TRALL is made for pedagogues, children and families. The diversity and quality of the music, combined with a state-of-the-art immersive experience, will contribute to renewing the musical song heritage of Norway, bridging kindergartens, schools and the homes, generations and cultures. The project has laid the foundation for a follow-up Proof of concept proposal.
