Akvaplan-niva - PES Horisont Europa rammebevilgning 2021–22

Participation in internationally funded projects provides increased reputation, context, visibility, and impact for a research institute. Akvaplan-niva (APN) will be a leading provider of research-based knowledge regarding ecosystems, environmental impact, effects of climate change and aquaculture within the European research and management environment. The knowledge APN produces should be used actively by public administration and industries from the local to the international level. Therefore, APN has developed a goal and preliminary action plan aimed at Horizon Europe in this application. The action plan describes specific activities for developing applications and projects within Horizon Europe, and will be developed in more detail over the next two years based on new announcements and experiences from completed processes. In addition, APN is planning several positioning activities to profile and promote itself as an attractive partner in Horizon Europe applications. For example, we will develop tailor-made 'sales documents' that will be published in the 'funding and tenders' portal from the EU as an 'expertise offer' for different calls. Other partners and consortia will more easily find APN as a partner and get to know our key expertise. APN will also strengthen internal expertise in application writing and innovation management through courses and training activities sponsored by the EU and Norwegian Research Council. This project will be used to develop and send at least 6 applications to Horizon Europe in the next two years.

Deltakelse i internasjonalt finansierte prosjekter gir økt omdømme, kontekst, synlighet, og impact for et forskningsinstitutt. Akvaplan-niva (APN) skal være en ledende?leverandør av?forskningsbasert kunnskap?om økosystemer, miljøpåvirkning, effekter av klimaendringer og akvakultur innenfor det europeiske forskningsmiljøet. Kunnskapen APN frembringer skal brukes aktivt av forvaltning og næringer fra lokalt- til internasjonalt-nivå. Derfor har APN utviklet et mål og foreløpig handlingsplan rettet mot Horisont Europa i denne søknaden. Handlingsplanen beskriver konkrete aktiviteter for å utvikle søknader og prosjekter innenfor Horisont Europa. En foreløpig handlingsplan er utarbeidet, men denne vil bli utviklet mer detaljert i løpet av de neste to år basert på nye utlysninger og erfaringer fra gjennomførte prosesser. I tillegg planlegger APN flere posisjoneringsaktiviteter for å profilere og fremme egen institusjon som attraktiv partner i Horisont Europa-søknader. Vi skal for eksempell utvikle skreddersydde 'salgsdokumenter' som vil bli spisset til de ulike utlysninger. Disse vil bli publisert i 'funding and tenders' portalen fra EU som 'expertise offer'. Da vil andre partnere og konsortier enklere finne APN som samarbeidspartner og bli kjent med vår nøkkelkompetanse. APN vil også styrke intern EU-kompetanse innenfor søknadsskriving og innovasjonsledelse gjennom kurs og opplæringsaktiviteter. Endelig vil prosjektet bli brukt for å utvikle og sende minst 6 søknader til Horisont Europe i de neste to årene.
