Rammebevilgning PES2021- 2022 for Simula Research Laboratory

Alternative title: EU Project establishment support 2021-2022 Simula Research Laboratory

Awarded: NOK 3.7 mill.

The PES scheme from the Research Council of Norway helps Simula with developing initiatives in the EU's new Horizon Europe. It gives our researchers more freedom to work on good proposals in a highly-competitive international environment. Today, scientific research in most fields is above all an international collaboration. It is therefore very important for institutions such as Simula to collaborate with EU partners, both from academia and industry, in research and innovation projects. Intangible benefits of working with a mix of stakeholders in the EU context include: - Helps us achieve critical mass on a topic by gathering external knowledge and expertise - knowledge or expertise that may not even be available at the national level. - Increase Simula's position as a leading international research center. - Ensure the relevance and impact of our research activities.
