Nasjonalt nettverk for batteripakking

The project's goal is to ensure that Norway takes a position in the global battery value chain, and thereby ensure a higher rate of transition in the green shift for Norway. We will lay the foundation for Norwegian, competitive production by developing new production expertise, new digital systems and new production technology that have positive ripple effects for the entire value chain in a life cycle perspective. The project will develop two pilot production lines for battery pack production, consisting of a pilot line for the production of submodules and one for the production of battery packs. For recycling of battery packs, the project will develop a pilot production line consisting of a station for robotized/automated disassembly of the battery packs into cells/submodules. The pilot lines will be part of a test and competence center for Industry 4.0 so that they function as a platform for the development of digital twins both for the end products and for the production process. The project will establish a "Master Team" of specialists in product and production development using the latest technology on the market, so that we build capacity and competence to develop digital twins of production lines and end products. This will also benefit established industry in other value chains in the transition to Industry 4.0 production.

Vi vil ta i bruk alle mulighetene som ligger tilgjengelig gjennom industriell digitalisering (industri 4.0 teknologi) for å gjøre det mulig for norske bedrifter å være konkurransedyktige internasjonalt. Kompetansen som utvikles gjennom prosjektet er generisk og vil få stor verdi for både digital transformasjon av eksisterende industri i tillegg til å etablere helt ny industriell produksjon. Kompetansen og erfaringene blir også best utnyttet om den tilgjengeliggjøres gjennom fullskala infrastruktur i nasjonale test og kompetanse sentre, slik Norsk Katapult gjør i dag. Gjennom partnerskap med Manufacturing Technology Katapult (MTNC) på Raufoss har vi som målsetning å bli en node i den nasjonale katapultstrukturen for å sikre best mulig etterbruk av investeringene og kompetansen som utvikles i prosjektet under rammen av Norsk Katapult.
