Some of the major challenges in the freight transport industry today are related to lacking information about available capacities and thereby a lot of manual work. There are many stages in the value chain, which leads to challenges regarding efficiency, cabotage and unnecessarily many empty trucks - which in turn contributes to a high carbon footprint. Swipload is as an application where shippers within B2B is given an overview of both their own and Swipload's carriers in one, common communication point - a form of Über within B2B freight transportation. The effects are reduced time spent on the phone and e-mail in the procurement of transport, and a reduction in the manual work before, during and after the transport. Of course completely digital. This means that the user has a clear and efficient dialogue with the carriers used on a daily basis. The application works well for companies, for freight forwarders who transport a lot of goods, and of course for the carriers themselves, who have more efficient access to assignments. The carriers can choose different notification methods for assignments and destinations.

Swipload er en ny digital tjeneste hvor vareeier samler transportører på en felles kommunikasjonsplattform. Dette kan være både egne transportører og andre transportører tilknyttet Swipload. Målet er å redusere tidsbruk på telefon og mail ved anskaffelse av transport og å redusere mengden manuelt administrativt arbeide før, under og etter transporter. Dette bidrar til en effektiv dialog mellom vareeier og aktuelle transportører. I dette forprosjektet inngår aktiviteter som skal bidra til å etablere en samarbeidskonstellasjon for et større prosjekt, samt en avklaring og definisjon av innhold i Pilot-T-prosjektet.
