The project aims to organize 31st symposium on hydraulic machinery and systems (widely known as IAHR conference). IAHR conference series is very well known globally and highly prestigious within fluid machinery and hydropower community. It is biennial symposium, and this time hosted by NTNU, Trondheim, Norway. Focus area is hydraulic turbine and affiliated topics of fluid engineering. The symposium is scheduled to organize during 26 June - 1 July 2022 in Trondheim. Proposed research topics for the symposium are hydraulic turbines, cavitation, sediment erosion, computational fluid dynamics, fluid structure interactions, measurement techniques, turbine intake systems, fatigue loading, energy flexibility, storage, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital twin. Around 250 research papers and 300 participants from more than 100 countries (Europe, Asia and America) are expected. Target audience for the symposium is researchers, hydropower industries, turbine manufacturers, researchers in the field of energy storage and flexibility, policy makers, students and academic professors.
