Eurocrypt is a week-long conference taking place May 30-June 3, 2022. The conference will feature research presentations from researchers worldwide, selected in a highly competitive selection process which lasted from October 1 2021 until February 1 2022 when 84 papers were accepted out of more than 350 submissions. These contributed talks will be complemented by several keynote talks from leading experts in the field, including the 2022 IACR Distinguished Lecture by Ingrid Verbauwhede (KU Leuven, Belgium).
We anticipate 300-400 participants, including a large proportion of students, with the majority coming from outside Norway and strong participation from all of the Norwegian cryptographic research community in academia and industry. In the two days before the main conference starts there will be affiliated workshop events of 1-2 days. Currently we know of five such events, with anticipate participation of 50-100 each.
We are targeting publicity at all members of the global cryptographic research community via (amongst others), web source, social media and personal connections. The conference webpage has been active since the middle of last year: https://eurocrypt.iacr.org/2022/.
Registration fees will be set to achieve a break-even budget. In order to achieve a fee which is comparable with previous years, it is important to achieve other sources of support to supplement registration fees. Several companies, both Norwegian and international, have shown significant interest in supporting the conference. The Centre for Cyber and Information Security (CCIS) at NTNU has pledged support of over 100 000 NOK.
