The Exercise in Medicine seminar is a biannual event hosting national and international experts in lifestyle related diseases. This year we will focus on application of advanced biotechnology methods to increase our understanding of the mechanistical link between physical activity and disease prevention. At the seminar, we will disseminate the last research development from our research group to the scientific community, but also encourage public dissemination through participation at the seminar and social media communication. Hosting this small seminar is a very valuable way to preserve our current collaborations as well as to establish new national and international networks within the field of dementia, cardiovascular disease, biotechnology and bioinformatics. This 9th Exercise in Medicine seminar is expected to bring together about 100 participants, ~10 of whom are experienced national and international world-leading researchers.
