Conference stands as a pivotal gathering aimed at bringing together regional leaders for private and public ECE sector, NGO and public sector representatives to deepen the engagement of the landscape of ECE field. In partnership of KINDknow (BARNkunne), HVL, and Filiorum, UiS, this conference serves as a dynamic platform for public sector , policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and NGOs to engage in promoting the latest research findings, innovative practices, successful strategies within the field, but also facilitating developing new innovative ideas. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and emphasizing evidence and innovation research-based approaches, we aim to inspire cocreation and creative thinking in ECE field. The theme of this year's conference is co-creation and research-based educational innovation in the kindergarten sector. We highlight the importance of relationality, collaboration, and cooperation together with innovative new policies and pedagogical practices for leaders and practitioners in ECE field.
The conference’s significance lies in the direct impact on the cooperation and communication between policymakers, bureaucrats, researchers in ECE sector and the ultimate end-users (children) in Norwegian kindergartens. Through the promotion of innovative and better practices on co-creations, we will address the multifaceted challenges faced in ECE, striving to create networks for ongoing and future collaborations between public sector and the early childhood field. The event aligns with Norway's commitment to sustainability, promoting eco-conscious practices and celebrating the diversity of culture, but also of ways, methods, and practices. By influencing policy, enhancing research collaboration, and contributing to capacity building, the conference plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of early childhood education in Norway, ensuring a holistic and inclusive approach that nurtures the potential of every child.
