Re-assessing Climate Action Policies for Equity & Justice through Societal Readiness

The overall objective of the ReCAPS project is to enable explicit and systematic integration of equity and justice needs, processes, trade-offs, and impacts into policies for climate mitigation and adaptation at various governance levels, based on co-created knowledge from urban transitions in the Global North and the Global South. Specifically, the extra PES support for applications with African participants will fund an in-person proposal writing and strategy workshop in Nairobi, Kenya, to bring together our African and European partners. This will allow us to better understand the context of each case on which the proposal is based, further develop the research methodologies, and edit and improve the proposal text with sufficient time before the proposal deadline.
