Atmospheric pollution effects on local, regional and global scales - an integrated approach.

The project goal is to establish a more permanent cooperation network of interested scientists from China, USA, Chile and many European countries that participated in the ESF-workshop in september 2002. The overall goal of the network is to understand the interactions between various pollutants and their effects and the implications these have for different mitigation strategies and best policy instruments.The network will be organized around a series of workshops and some common projects and will be coop erating closely with IPCC. CICERO is lead institution. The project will be led by Hans Martin Seip, University of Oslo, Kristin Aunan, CICERO and Haakon Vennemo, ECON.
