Nationally Coordinated Project in Oxides for Future Information and Communication Technology

Tildelt: kr 65,5 mill.

The proposed nationally coordinated project involveds four research institutions in Norway: University of Oslo (UiO), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), National Institute of Industrial and Technological Research (SINTEF), and Institut e of Energy Research (IFE). The project aims at making Norwegian an international leading actor within research on oxide materials with potential for applications in Information and Communications Technology. The research project is to be focused on oxi de functional materials. The project is designed with a long-term perspective in mind. The project "Half-Metallic Oxide Magnetoresistors for Spintronics and Misfit-layered Oxides as Novem Thermoelectric Materials" is included in the project.
