Initials talks between the parties interested in CO2 management were held in Beijing at Tsinghua University in late October 2005. Further plans are as follows:
Submission of application to EU FP6 within January 20 for a STREP on collaboration with a few CASTOR partners, selected partners from CSLF countries, as explained above, and with Tsinghua University.
A working seminar between Tsinghua University representatives and NTNU to be held at NTNU in March 2006. This will be a joint seminar for many grou ps establishing collaboration in several areas. Here the basic foundation for the collaboration will be drafted and the areas exploited in more detail. Possibly other partner from Tsinghua, than those already involved, will join the process.
A reciprocal seminar in Beijing in October 2006 to detail the plans further with exchange of doctoral students and personnel. Joint research proposals will be drafted and possible and possible alleys for application submission discussed.
The process of joint applicat ion submission could possibly be started and continued throughout 2006 and the first quarter of 2007.
