Tildelt: kr 0,22 mill.

The project supports two network activities of importance to IMER/UiB, NORDIMER and Metropolis International. NORDIMER is a Nordic network of institutions and researchers in the IMER field, and will serve to enhance research cooperation, and also facilit ate the training of researchers. IMER/UiB will participate in the Steering Committee for this network. It will also run one of the research nodes, the one dealing with planned pluralism. Metropolis International is the major international gathering for I MER-related fields, and engages researchers, as well as decision-makers and administrators. IMER/UiB has a representative on the International Steering Committee, and it is also requested that in addition the project gives funds for two additional partici pants from IMER/UiB at the annual conferences. Both these networks are of significant strategic importance to IMER/UiB, and the director of IMER/UiB is a founding member of both. It is expected that the NORDIMER and Metropolis activities aroud planned pluralism together will result in international publication, at least in the shape of an edited book
