Low energy bio fuel production from wood.

Bio Oil AS is a Norwegian company that works with research institutions, forest owners, businesses and investors in Norway, North Carolina and Sweden to create large scale production, preferabley in Norway, of biofuel based on wood as biomass. Our goal is to develop competitive technology for sustainable, economically and environmentaly production of biofuels and biochemicals through biomass derived from Norwegian wood or woodwaste. Based on state-of-the-art technology, research is focusing on the fea sibility of technology from economic, energy and environmental criterias. In all areas of promising technology there will be established in-depth research projects. The main research challenges will be in the field of economically viable and competitive technology that is also based on low energy usage, low emissions and sustainability throughout the production and logistic process.
