Organisk Kjemisk Vintermøte, Skeikampen 12.-15. januar 2012

The 27th Organic Winter Meeting will take place January 12th-15th 2012 at Thon Hotel Skeikampen. This conference is the national meeting in organic chemistry in Norway, and it is held under the umbrella of the Division of Organic Chemistry of the Norwegia n Chemical Society. Since the initiation of the conference, we have each year invited 3-4 foreign chemists, internationally recognized in their fields of research. Due to financial support from the Norwegian Research Council over the years it has been pos sible to maintain this tradition without having to charge a considerable conference fee. This has been absolutely instrumental to keep up the numbers of participants in times with little money at Norwegian universities for conference participation.
