NOP Nordic Wittgenstein Review (NWR), filosofisk nordisk-internationell hybridtidskrift

NWR is published by the Nordic Wittgenstein Society (NWS): http://www.nordicwittgensteinsociety.org. NWS has 140 members (number increasing, all Nordic countries represented). Its board is Nordic (2012: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden). The editors for t he first two years are from the Univ. of Bergen, Norway, and Åbo Akademi, Finland. From the third year onwards, the journal circulates between the Nordic member institutions of the NWS (2014 Åbo, 2015 Odense). NWR is published online as an Open Access (O A) publication with a delay after print of 3 months: http://www.nordicwittgensteinreview.com. It is published as a printed journal at Ontos Verlag: http://www.ontosverlag.com. This combination of OA and commercial publishing is organized and evaluated und er the auspices of the EU project Agora through the Agora partners Åbo Akademi & University of Bergen. NWR employs a comprehensive dissemination strategy with regard to both its print and online versions. The journal articles will be interlinked with oth er online Wittgenstein resources such as Wittgenstein Source: http://www.wittgensteinsource.org/. By state of the art indexing, the journal will provide its contributors with academic relevance and wide visibility. The journal will be covered by a number of indexing services including PhilPapers.org, DOAJ and Philosophers´ Index (philindex.org). The journal implements a double-blind peer review process; all accepted contributions will in addition go through a collaborative open review (moderated by the e ditors). The editorial procedures are designed to follow best practice concerning excellence, impartiality, transparency, purposefulness, efficiency, confidentiality and integrity (cf European Peer Review Guide). Each article will be read and commented on by the editors as well as by two or more external anonymous reviewers. The advisory board will assist in reviewing as well as in building a top quality reviewer pool.
