5th International workshop on level densities and gamma-strength functions

The purpose of organizing this expert workshop is to bring together the world-leading scientists in the field of level densities and gamma strength functions. We will invite both theoretichians and experimentalists studying level densities and gamma stre ngth functions using a wide range of experimental techniques and theoretical approaches. Scientists in the field of nuclear astrophysics, reactor physics and other related fields will also be invited. We first organized a workshop in Oslo in May 2007: "l evel densities and gamma strength functions in continuum". We organized another workshop in Oslo in May 2009: See http://tid.uio.no/workshop09/ May 2011 http://tid.uio.no/workshop2011/ May 2013 http://tid.uio.no/workshop2013/ This is now established as a bi-annual workshop series, and we are organizing the next workshop 18-22 May 2015. In the even year the workshop has been organized at University of Ohi o(2008), in Prague (2010, only gamma strength) and in Dresden (2012).
